Move Swings...

Please forgive me, its that time again...I'm PCSing.

Permanent Change of Station (PCS) has a wide variety of symptoms, including mood swings, tender heart, friend cravings, fatigue, irritability and depression. At my best estimate most women PCSing will have experienced some form of Move Swings.
Symptoms tend to begin sometime around the 30 day mark, but can also arise much earlier and later; sometimes PCS can be unforeseeable.  These symptoms or "move swings" can be unpredictable and can arise without any warning.  Symptoms can range from mild to extreme and can come in many forms.  The physical changes can be as simple as bloodshot eyes but may range to cuts and bruises and everything in-between.  The physical changes are usually minimal and treatable, but the emotional changes occurring with a PCS are indefinite.
Unfortunately, at this time there is no treatment for PCS, the best way to treat your Move Swings is to prepare, organize, breathe and relax and often a good cry or two will ease some of the symptoms.
I would be a millionaire if I could bottle and market a pill for PCS.  Something to ease the pain of leaving behind another house filled with memories,  saying goodbye to friends, packing up you "life" and hoping it arrives in one piece on the other side.  I don't have an antidote for these move swings I'm experiencing.  I feel like Dr. Jekyll and Mr. I want to GO HIDE.  Can I just sleep through the next few weeks  months and wake up when my PCS is over.
I don't want my move swings to control my life, but this is my life and until they find a cure for PCS forgive me: its that "time" again.  Im just PCSing...
